Sarah DiFranco
A Partner in the Litigation section of North Carolina-based law firm, Poyner Spruill LLP, Sarah DiFranco represents businesses in contract and construction disputes. She is licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
Sarah is a proud Charlotte native. After high school, she moved to Atlanta where she graduated from Emory University with a double major in business and political science, worked for five years at a financial planning firm, and completed law school at Georgia State College of Law. Upon law school graduation, Sarah knew it was time to return to Charlotte to settle down and start her law career.
Sarah’s introduction to Claire’s Army was through Poyner Spruill, a long-time supporter and partner of Claire’s Army. Prior to joining the Board of Directors, Sarah volunteered at or attended countless Claire’s Army events.
Sarah has also served on the young professional’s board of Teach For America, Charlotte Piedmont- Triad, and as Section Chair for the Mecklenburg County Bar’s Litigation Section. She provides pro bono representation to local non-profit, Ascend Nonprofit Solutions.
Sarah and her husband, Doug, have two children. When she is not working or volunteering Sarah enjoys rooting for the Tarheels and Panthers, listening to podcasts, participating in group fitness, and exploring Charlotte.
