Luisa Romero

Luisa is the Human Resources Manager for Griffin Masonry, Inc. in Mint Hill, North Carolina.  Luisa has been at Griffin Masonry and its sister companies for the past 18 ½ years.  She is passionate about caring for employees and their families through putting on company events, sourcing quality health insurance coverage, and compiling the best possible benefits.  Prior to her time at Griffin Masonry, Luisa worked in sales and marketing for a health insurance carrier.  She understands not only the emotional toll cancer can have on a family but also the immense financial pressure and daily battle with insurance.

Luisa is a Charlottean through and through.  Born and raised in Charlotte, she graduated from Myers Park High School and completed degrees in International Studies and Political Science from UNC Charlotte.  In her free time, Luisa enjoys cheering on the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC, traveling, spending time with family, drinking Coke Zeros and watching reality tv.

Luisa is one of the original members of Claires Army, praying for and following Claire’s journey through Kevin’s entries on the CaringBridge site.  Luisa has known Kevin as a coworker and friend for over 18 years and through Kevin has had the pleasure of getting to know Emily and their family.
