Karen Chapman

Secretary, Board of Directors

Karen is a litigation partner at the law firm Poyner Spruill, LLP. She is a double Tar Heel, having obtained both her undergraduate and law degree from UNC-CH. Karen is married to Kevin Chapman, who is also an attorney. Together, they enjoy traveling internationally and taking long weekend trips to New York to see Broadway shows. Karen spearheaded a project for Claire’s Army in connection with her firm’s anniversary celebration and, in the process, fell in love with the organization and its mission.
