Jared Horton

Treasurer, Board of Directors

Jared grew up in Charlotte, NC.  He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received an undergraduate degree in Health Policy and Administration and a Masters of Accounting.  He then went to work for 4 years for Grant Thornton LLP where he met his wife, Shannon.  Jared and Shannon have been CPAs at Webster, Duke & Co., P.A. for the last 7 years where they work mainly with individuals and small businesses.  They have two children, Colin and Isabelle.  Jared is a deacon at Forest Hill Church and was a part of a lifegroup with Emily and Kevin Ratliff when Claire was first diagnosed.  Jared serves as Treasurer of Claire’s Army and enjoys golf, skiing and the Tar Heels in his spare time.
