Claire received over 75 blood and platelet transfusions during her short 8-month battle against neuroblastoma. These transfusions were vital to her treatment. Every day hundreds of children in this city, fighting disease, depend on donors to give.
In December of 2013, a middle school student Eliana Davis heard about Claire’s Army and decided to act! She is the President of the National Junior Honor Society at Socrates Academy in Charlotte and they are organizing a blood drive to combat the current blood shortage we face in Charlotte.
