Join us on Sunday, August 28th as we celebrate Claire’s birthday by recognizing the special women of Claire’s Army who are devoted to making a positive difference in the lives of families fighting childhood cancer. This event will also raise awareness about the most critical needs of the families Claire’s Army serves and focus on what’s most important – family time.

Who We Are

Claire’s Army’s mission is to strive to act as God’s hands and feet by providing support for families fighting childhood cancer. Through an established network of resources we will support families’ daily responsibilities allowing them to put their time and focus on their child.

In 2015 Claire’s Army:

• Delivered over 650 meals to patients/their families at Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital
• Distributed 20 Claire packages ($150 value) to newly diagnosed families • Hosted a Holiday Toy Shop for parents to give gifts to every child in their family –totaling over $1,500 in support
• Provided over $5,000 in gas and grocery gift cards to offset transportation and grocery costs
• Secured a vehicle on Christmas Eve for a patient who had not had a car in over 18 months
• Assisted with more than $10,000 worth of emergent needs – mortgage/rent/utilities
• Financially supported monthly ALL OUT support group (totaling $1,700) with dinner and programming needs (a group opened to teens and young adults with a cancer diagnosis)
• Provided miscellaneous assistance to 25 different families in the greater Charlotte area
